    It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more.

Dr. George was born in Egypt and moved to Boston as a teenager. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to medical school, she worked as a bioengineer and research fellow at Harvard Medical School, where she contributed to pioneering work in xenotransplantation using CRISPR/Cas9 technology.

She was also a founding member of the biotech company eGenesis. She helped multiple start-ups by offering laboratory operations consulting. Companies include colossal biosciences, GC Therapeutics, Ally Therapeutics, Avrobio, along to others in Cambridge, MA. She was also involved in multiple research lab build outs.

Dr. George is passionate about the intersection of preventive medicine and research.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband, discovering new shows, and mentoring others, whether it’s supporting early-stage biotech startups or guiding medical students through their journey.

Jurgen goes by Juri pronounced (Yooh-ree) and has a background in Biochemistry and Organizational Leadership. Juri brings more than a decade of experience working in a variety of management and operational positions in healthcare and life sciences. As an expert in the field he is certified in numerous facets of lab operations, data integrity and environmental safety such as DOT, FROL, HAZWOPER, RCRA, CPR, ALCOA+, cGLP, cGMP.

Dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance for scientists to thrive in groundbreaking research
Juri’s career also includes tenures at BWH, where he served in a verity of operational capacities, Harvard Medical School, where he contributed to pioneering work in xenotransplantation, Avrobio as Lab Manager and most recently at Novo Nordisk, where he lead a dedicated team of lab operations specialists overseeing comprehensive lab operations, in BSL 2 labs for chemistry, biology, RNA extraction, histology, HPLC, tissue cultures, and advanced drug delivery (GMP).

Juri is passionate about safety and talent development.

As a foodie, in his free time, he enjoys traveling to sunny places and trying a large variety of different cuisines.
